3rd Annual Chicken BBQ

Please join us for the PLP 3rd Annual Chicken BBQ and adoption event on Sunday, August 26th, at the Linglestown Fire Company – Woohoo!

We will have a limited number of chicken BBQ dinners the day of the event so we strongly encourage you to pre-order! You can do so by purchasing a ticket via PayPal using the link below, which can also be found on our website and Facebook page. When pre-ordering, please note that the donation is for the chicken BBQ, as well as how many meals you are purchasing. Once the meals are paid for, your receipt will be your ticket! All pre-purchased meals must be picked up by 1:00pm the day of the BBQ. We will also have soup – chicken corn soup and a limited supply of ham and bean.

This fun day will include:

• $9/per BBQ dinner includes half chicken, baked potato, roll, applesauce, and a beverage

• Chicken corn soup and ham & bean – available by the quart and by the gallon
• Meet some of our awesome adoptable dogs!

• We will have whoopie pies for sale!

• Lots of great raffle items – winners will be drawn at 2:00pm

Little Dippers Fundraiser

What’s better on a hot summer day then a few scoops of yummy ice cream? How about ice cream, adoptable pups, and supporting a great cause?!?!

Join us as we host our 2nd annual fundraiser for Pitties.Love.Peace on June 16th. We will be donating 10% of all sales that day to the rescue. Pitties. Love. Peace will be here from 4-8pm selling some of their awesome merchandise and they will have a few adoptable dogs here as well. Come out and enjoy the sunshine, meet some friendly pups and support a great cause! 🐕🍦

Muttinee for Animal Rescue

It’s time again for Shank’s annual fundraiser for local no kill animal shelters. Live music with The Justin Angelo Band. Auction items too. In the back yard you can visit with: Cockers Across PA, Pitties Love Peace, Therapy Pigs, 2nd Chance for Life and Operation Scarlet. Also: Heim’s Food Truck. Doors open at 12 noon. Please send us a message if you would like to donate to our cause.

We will have lots of goodies for sale to help you find the perfect holiday gift for the animal lovers in your life, as well as pet photo with Santa himself from 10am – 1pm. Lancaster Going to the Dogs Day is a rescue awareness event to bring attention to rescues and area shelters. This is our 1st year for the event and we’re excited that a percentage of proceeds will be donated to the participating rescues, shelters and K-9 Unit.

Beginning at 12:30 pm, Festoon will put on a fashion show to showcase their new line as well as walking dogs available for adoption that day! A ‘Rescued on the Runway’ of sorts!

Several amazing consultants are hosting a HUGE MULTI CONSULTANT LuLaRoe Fundraiser to benefit Peace.Love.Pitties! Stop by anytime from 1-5 and check out the THOUSANDS of pieces of inventory available for you to shop! Each purchase raises money to help this wonderful organization helping animals in our local communities!

This is an outdoor event.

This is a family event, so the following must be addressed…
– No Revving and 2 Stepping will be tolerated
You will be asked to refrain from that 1 time.. after that 1st request you will be asked to leave and not return.
– Loud music especially vulgar, will also not be tolerated! If heard by vehicles at opposing ends of the Isle you are in it is too loud.
Again, requested 1 time to silence, after you will be asked to leave. There is a time and a place for those things and around kids and in shopping centers unless otherwise noted by the promoter of the event, it is not necessary and prohibited.
– Do not lean, set things on or contact other enthusiasts vehicles without their permission.
– Please be respectful.
